After, come outside to check out the Metro Boston Grand Procession down Boylston Street to Boston Common. At 7pm, the Boston Family Fireworks presented by Mayor Thomas M. Menino and The Mugar Foundation. Then enjoy your evening with dance, comedy, spoken word, theater and almost every type of music available.How do you get in on all the fun? A First Night button is all you need. $18 gets you into all the action all day long and helps to support First Night, a private non-profit organization.

Take a trip to Boston and mention the name Samuel Adams to any of it’s locals, you quickly see that this name represents more then just a historic figure you learned about in 6^th grade social studies. Cambridge International Carnival is a wonderful event rooted in African traditions. The festival has been known to attract over 150,000 people making it the largest festival in Cambridge. The finale of this festival is a grand costume parade accompanied by rich rhythmic musicality promoting all types of cultures. The festival combines food and craft exhibits, costumes, masks, wire-bending, live music, steel pan, Kids Fest, street parades, and dancing, to display the history and culture of the Caribbean traditions based on the models of Trinidad, Tobago, and Brazil.

Throughout the tour, they keep you entertained using a combination of historical facts and college humor. This is a must see if you are going to be in Harvard Square to look at the school. There is no cost to join the tour, but the students accept gratuities at the end of the experience. They do a great job so remember to take care of your guide.
